Yesterdays run was still in my legs but I managed to get up and out to the base of Mount Cootha.
Coach Chris told us we were running the whole loop this morning instead of hill repeats. I thought this was a bloody stupid idea until I got dropped (too slow) of the fast runners and was way ahead of the slow runners. So there I was totally on my own running as best as I could and totally enjoying the surroundings.
After the rain last night it was slighly damp, very cool and extremely pleasant to be out in hills running.
A solid 9km hill session.

Well Clairie, always tough by yourself, but as you said beautiful surrounds, so this makes it slightly easier!!
